2022 Committee Goals:
- Develop research goals for the association.
- To focus on creating cannabis research continuing education opportunities for nurses and other interested healthcare professionals.
- To advocate for patients through research and educational opportunities.
- To establish research and evidence-based practice as a foundation for cannabis nursing.
- Enhance membership access to current cannabis research and partner with organizations that offer scientific content.
- Initiate Quarterly Journal Club.
- Webinar: How to evaluate cannabis research and how to submit a journal article for publication.
- Obtain membership access to CannaKeys 360: Cannabinoid Health Sciences Research Databank.
- Collaborates with Education, Communications, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Media, Student, Credentialing and Policy and Government Affairs Committees.
Service Qualifications:
- Preferred: MSN or PhD degree or currently enrolled in nursing (or closely related field) program.
- Previous research experience a plus.
- Meets on a bi-monthly basis; Chair reports to Executive Committee monthly.
